Our History
The Barry Blue Foundation is dedicated to supporting families facing cancer through financial relief, care packages, and comforting children's stories.
Barry Blue Foundation was founded in 2020 by Dr. Kyan Sahba to support families facing financial hardship during cancer treatment. What began as a tribute to her parents and loved ones quickly grew into a mission-driven organization.
Today, 100% of profits from donations and book sales are given directly to families and organizations supporting those fighting cancer.
About the Author
Dr. Ky grew up listening to the bedtime stories her father created just for her. She always knew they were too special to keep to herself, so she began writing them down. Before she could publish the first story, her father passed away from brain cancer.
Honoring his legacy, Dr. Ky turned those stories into the Barry Blue children’s book series and dedicated every book to the families and loved ones affected by cancer.
All proceeds are donated to organizations, businesses, and research centers that support cancer patients. Through these stories of friendship, courage, self-love, and acceptance, she hopes every reader feels a little more hope, comfort, and connection.
